Vacancy for Teaching Assistant Level 2

Morden Mount School requires a Teaching Assistant from January 2021.  The post is up to 30 hours per week; term time only (39 weeks per year); £21,408 - £21,795 (PRO RATA)

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Be very committed to helping children make the most of every opportunity at school
  • Be able to relate sympathetically to very young children
  • Be able to promote social skills in young children
  • Have patience and empathy with children experiencing learning or social difficulties
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team
  • Have the flexibility and skill to work as a 1-1 teaching assistant (SEN)
  • Know how to help children learn
  • Have a Teaching Assistant level 2 qualification or equivalent or be willing to complete a Teaching Assistant level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • Have a minimum of GCSE grade C/grade 4 in Literacy/Numeracy
  • Be committed to the success of the school
  • Be required to undertake a DBS check
