Schools Align, Pupils Shine - EYFS
During the moderation with three schools, we could demonstrate the strengths in letter formation, spelling, quantity of writing and variety of genre. It gave the staff time to reflect and look at next steps. This ensures that pupils at Morden mount continue to get excellent teaching and experiences.

We foster a school-wide culture of excellence by monitoring and celebrating the precision of handwriting, the accuracy of spelling, and the diversity of genre coverage. By upholding these high standards, we empower Year 2 children to transition from emergent learners to fluent, self-assured communicators. It highlights areas for improvement, which makes sure our children progress.

The recent book look successfully showcased high-quality work and impressive consistency in presentation across the phase. Year 3 and 4 books were a particular highlight, demonstrating high level of children’s writing. This review confirmed a positive learning culture where pupils take visible pride in their academic progress.
